# Use People Data Labs in Clay

> Use People Data Labs enrichments inside Clay, with Clay's managed connection or your own PDL account.

Use People Data Labs (PDL) data directly in your Clay tables. Enrich people and companies, find contact information, spot workforce and hiring signals, and add PDL data to your existing Clay workflows.

**There are two ways to use PDL in Clay:**

## PDL enrichments in Clay

Search for **People Data Labs** when you add an enrichment to a Clay table to find these actions. For the full, current list, see [People Data Labs on Clay](https://www.clay.com/integrations/data-provider/people-data-labs).

## FAQ

    Connecting your PDL key lets you use your existing subscription inside Clay, track PDL credit usage directly in your dashboard, and apply your PDL plan or customized pricing to supported enrichments.

    Your account also determines which PDL fields you can access, though the fields available in Clay depend on the enrichment you select.

    Clay Actions still apply, but the PDL enrichment does not consume Clay Data Credits.

  <Accordion title="If I use my own key, does Clay still charge anything?" icon="info">
    Yes. Clay doesn't charge data credits for PDL data you get through your own key, because that data uses credits from your PDL account. Clay still counts one action per enrichment as platform usage.

    No. Clay supports connecting your own API key on every plan, including Free.

    No. A saved PDL connection can be reused across every PDL enrichment in Clay.

    Yes. PDL can be one step in a conditional enrichment, so you only run additional providers when PDL doesn't return the data you need.
