## Clay-managed PDL vs. bring your own key

There are two ways to use PDL inside Clay:

## FAQ

    No. Clay provides access to supported PDL enrichments through its managed connection. If you already have a PDL account, you can connect your own API key instead.

    Connecting your own key lets you use your existing PDL account and data access inside Clay instead of Clay's managed connection. This is useful if you already use PDL elsewhere and want the same account across tools.

    No. A saved PDL connection can be reused across every supported PDL enrichment in Clay.
