PDL uses usage-based pricing. Most APIs consume credits only for successful matches (a request that returns at least one record with a 200 status code). Unsuccessful requests are not billed.
  • Enrichment APIs (Person, Company, IP): 1 credit per successful request
  • Bulk Enrichment APIs: Up to 100 credits per request (1 per match in the batch)
  • Search APIs (Person, Company): 1 credit per profile returned
  • Person Identify API: 1 credit per request, including requests with no match (404)
  • Supporting APIs (such as Autocomplete, Cleaner, Person Changelog, Subject Request, and Sandbox APIs): No credits consumed — managed by rate limits instead
Some APIs require an additional purchase. See the documentation for specific API endpoints to view access requirements and exact credit usage rates.
Check your remaining credits and usage anytime on the Usage tab in the API Dashboard, or programmatically via response headers.

What happens when you run out

When your account has no credits remaining, API requests return a 402 error. See Fix 402 out-of-credit errors.
